When you have skillfull personal, good food on board and good (and clean) installations but are unable to provide a good service, especially those announced in the daily board programm, it means that you are doing something wrong. Almost all the boat have included the excursion to Ephasus at 7:00 am. Breakfast was opened at 6:00 am. in both restaurants. Consequently, at 6:30 it was impossible to have breakfast in the sourrounding area of the buffet ( We were suggested to sit at the bottom of Magalhanes Restaurant, but it was impossible to approach the buffet from there and out of question bringing plates from the adjacent aegean restaurant to there. Solution: grabbing something and eating it on foot at the spot plus drinking a café in the aegean lounge prior to join our excursion. Possible solution: If you are unable to accomodate too many people in two breakfast buffets, why don't open a breakfast corner in the bars? We needn't a full breakfast before the excursion and weren't on the mood for fighting for some basics but in the bars it were just the usual drinks, nothing to eat. Again, after the excursion (note that people will arrive to the ship at the same time) we where trying to eat "à la carte" at the Magallanes restaurant. According to the program it was possible from 12 to 2pm but at 1pm we were told that it wasn't posible, the only option was again a crowded buffett. So, we have lunch at the 9th deck also overcrowded and quickly running short of food: You could eat what you could find, but very difficult to choice what to eat.
The waiting line for a table for dinner wasn't so harsh but it was also stressful trying to be the first in the line, without losing time at the cabin after an excursion.
The free disembrkation with numbers (in a port or by tenders) wasn't well organized as well and we needed to do a queue to have a number. Numbers for Santorini were distributed at 2pm, we were there half an hour before and we just had the number 3 About the entertaining, we just have attended a show: about a Greek wedding, which was so so. So we didn't attend any others, but that is a matter of tastes.
Our cabin was good, well kept and fortunately without a large amounth of publicity and unnecessary items
