We booked this ship because it was new, Oasis class and leaving from one of our favorite cities, Barcelona. The ship itself is beautiful, as only Royal Caribbean can do. It seems longer and wider than other Oasis Class ships like Symphony, Harmony , Oasis and Allure. Our crossing had 400+ passengers. Lots of Europeans, and a very small number of children. We also had over 250 Pinnicle status cruisers--quite a large number for any ship at one time. I admire that so many devote their lives to cruising and in order to gain this status they need 700 minimum sea days. That's a lot of sea days--and why Royal treats them so well. Unfortunately, because of this large number, the rest of us lost use of the Solarium Bistro and the Music Hall ( several hours for their cocktails in early evening). Another frustration was not having big enough venues for things like Trivia, Karaoke, and Zumba class. We ran to the Schooner Bar every night one hour before 5:00 Trivia just to get a seat! Another observation, and I hate to sound picky, but the staff in the dining room, the cabin stewards and some of the bartenders still need additional training. MyTime dining was chaotic. It use to be flexible--now the window is shorter and the table locations put you next to banging kitchen doors or waiter stations with clanging dishes all throughout your meal.It took a few days, but we finally got a good table with an exceptional wait staff. I will wait a few years before I try Wonder again. Back to my favorites--Symphony, Harmony, Odyessy!
Very spacious cabin with a large balcony. Lots of storage and very nicely appointed.
