Margaritaville At Sea Cruise

My wife and I went on this cruise for a weekend getaway. This was my first cruise and it was not what I expected. The alcohol drink package was over priced for what you got. We witnessed one of many other complain about the drinks not having enough alcohol. One of the crew members sell drinks explain that the drinks were $12 dollars and the souvenir blender cup was $10 making the drink $22 dollars. I then asked how much for a refill and she stated $19 dollars. I had no response to that a just stayed quit. Another issue is the amount of marijuana smoking around the ship with kids running around. It was so bad the comedian used it in his act. We tried a small and was awakened my guest in the stateroom next door arguing which started in the hall and then to their room. Other guest were looking out their doors to see what was going on. We tried to call security and no answer. We tried to call the medical unit because the ladies arguing were stating that one on the guest in their room was trying to overdose and to get her to throw up. No response from the medical unit and we we prompted to leave a voice mail.

One night after the comedy show about 5 kids were at the back bar harassing the cook staff and bartender for food a drinks. One of the kid enter the food serving area and the crew member showed great restraint dealing with these rude kids that should have not been alone unsupervised. We asked the crew member to call security because now this was a safety issue by entering a cooking/prep area. Other guest were leaving the area because of the noise and distraction from the kids. I hope the cruise addresses some of these issues before one day it cause a lawsuit. This cruise has the potential to be better. I hope my next cruise with cruise experience is better. Read more
