Sail Date: Oct 2022
Traveled with children

We travelled with my daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren. This ship had everything on it to satisfy each of us. We had a blast. Several reviews commented on the size of the ship and the crowding. Our sailing was sold out, but to be honest we didn't see any problem with overcrowding. We always were able to find a lounge chair no problem. And except once we were always able to find a seat for the shows. The time we didn't, we arrived at the venue five minutes ahead of the start and were looking for seats for 6; if we were a party of 2 or 3 we could have found a spot.

We had inside cabins. Very, very small. That being said lots of outlets and places to plug in phones, etc. And amazingly enough, had quite ample storage space and shower was a very good size for a cruise ship. We don't spend much time in the room so size wasn't an issue.

We were very amazed by the amount of activities that are available. First, is all the fun outdoor amenities - the Ultimate Playground. The roller coaster - $15 -was short but a lot of fun. But it was the ropes course that really blew us away. How scary to hang by a rope to a beam above and maneuver through beams and obstacles so far above ground. It was a long course and each obstacle provided an easier and a more challenging choice to take. It was a blast. The three full length water slides were all excellent. We mostly swam 2 floors down from it in the aft. The pool was refreshing and the hot tubs were never too full. The miniature golf course was also a lot of fun, and once again, never was busy. There were multiple shows throughout the day and mostly were of a high quality and entertaining. We also enjoyed the comedian shows. I had read that you had to arrive 30 minutes early in the hope of getting a seat, but we didn't find that to be the case. But also throughout the day were games or family activities that we took part in. The bean bag toss challenges were different and creative. We enjoyed the country music dance and game and the Walk the Plank game was so fun we are going to try to purchase parts and recreate the game at home to do with the family when we get together. For those who want to stay in their room there is a full selection of free movies to watch on demand. We also took part in a couple of dive-in movies on the lido deck. The only disappointment was that there wasn't any popcorn which was weird.
