I am an Elite-Plus passenger which means I’m a veteran of many Celebrity cruises, so I know whereof I speak. I am writing this review while crossing the Atlantic on Celebrity’s Apex, a trip which because of Covid had been postponed at least twice. It is my first sailing on an Edge-class ship.

I have taken transatlantic cruises before aboard the Reflection and I will confine my comments about this cruise to a comparison of these two ships, specifically comparing a balcony on the Reflection to an “Infinite Veranda” on the Apex.

I will begin by saying that the Reflection had been my favorite Celebrity ship and I came on board the Apex skeptical that its new features would impress me; and the truth is, some did and some did not so much.
