Unfortunately perhaps our expectations were too high, this ship is tired.

The embarkations and disembarkations were chaotic to say the least, including assembling for excursions. This itinerary had many sea days and not enough variety of public spaces. The coffee shop was extremely popular probably because it was one of the few places to visit. The observation lounge was completely under used and totally inadequately furnished. There were no facilities available in there, the bar was manned intermittently it was just a void when it could be soo much more.

The food was very repetitive in the buffet, it consisted of a variety of curries, fajitas every day, same sandwich selection daily, worst cheese selection and very little else to tempt the palate. There was no variety or imagination and considering we were on the ship for 18 days it should have been the highlight of the day. The quality and variety in the main dining room was much better and the service was excellent.
