This is my 5th MSM cruise, I go for the chance to see the great ones... Dion (headlining), Righteous Bros, Frankie Avalon & Brooklyn Bridge. Then come these groups on the Lido or Ocean decks, Crow's Nest etc, not mainstage, & wow! Sounds of the Street, December '63 & those Elvis tribute artists (aka Elvi), are just superb. Just love being able to talk to them, get a pic w/Bill Medley again, etc. Main disappointment was not having Dion sign his Christian album "Inside Job", but peeps just rush the stage afterward & he can't get to us all. Dion also doesn't hang in cafeteria or on deck like Brooklyn Bridge w/the fabulous Jimmy Rosica, or like Bobby Rydell always did.
Frankie did a greeeat tribute to his school & lifelong buddy, Bobby Rydell. Plus, sang w/Don Everly's son!!
Often gave up mainstage artist to hear Sounds of the St, Dec '63, Brooklyn Bridge, Dean Torrence, etc (they were better).
