This was our second Viking river cruise, we took my Dad (90) last year on the Rhine Getaway and he loved it so much, we booked the Danube. My Wife and I are in our 60s and have been on dozens of ocean cruises but our second river cruise. Here is an honest review.

Beautiful city. Would like to return some day.
Passau
Lovely little town, we walked around to soak in the beauty. It was a holiday so everything was closed except the Churches. We had a Viking local guide named Elizabeth. Oh My, was she amazing. She is an opera singer and sang a couple songs along the way.
Regensburg
Such an historic city with so many old building still in tack. Great to stroll around. Loved it. Such an each city to get to from the Munich airport.
Vienna
Exceed our expectations. You really need a week here but we did a walking tour, saw St Stephens and went to the Upper Belvidere art museum. The Schonbrumm Palace was amazing on the outside and gardens and we took the subway from our viking boat, the provided directions made it easy. We went to a classical music concert at St Annes Church. So much do see and do in the clean and vibrant city.
