Just traveled the third time on the same ship.We traveled in April on The Independence ,with a Junior Suite,,I understand in April the ship was probably 60% full, and it was great..Great service,,cabin was good and had a good time.We went back on the same ship in late August, rented a Grand Suite..also was very good,,great srvice and the cabin was very nice. The suite lounge was a nice perk also..So we decided to travel for my birthday on the same ship and another Grand suite..Boarding was good and easy,,We were in cabin 1286.It was a tired cabin. The lounge chairs was ripped..and the chairs were just worn like a old pair of shoes. We had a great stewart,,his name was Elmer Fudd...really,,Super nice man.Went to the suite lounge for a before dinner cocktail...It was packed.Had one drink,,not very good and left..Tried anothe time,,it was so busy,,forget about it.Went to main dining and the tables were 6 inches apart. We might as well had a table for 4..We complained,,but they are now running at 100% capacity..BIG difference. If you pay up for a cruise.you expect some perks and ammenities that they offer..NOT...They are not prepared for full ships yet. They are trying to make up for lost revenue,,which I understand. For us now,,it puts a different perception about how they handle things at full ships.Too many $$$$ to waste and after being in a bubble for 2 years....More expensive ,doesn't mean better..
