We have now cruised with Celebrity 13 times...We have always enjoyed the many features of the Cruise Line. But this time, we were a bit disappointed. The Edge is a beautiful ship; however, it lacks some of the features that we find so appealing in the Solstice class ships. For example, there are few quiet areas in the ship. Nothing like the Ensemble lounge or a library area or the Sky lounge.

Most irritating for us, however, was the noise level in the specialty restaurants. While the food and service in both Eden and the Fine Cut Steakhouse were excellent, the experience is almost ruined by the noise of the live entertainment bleeding into the restaurants. It was difficult to have a conversation. It made us long for Tuscan Grill or Murano on the Solstice class ships. The food in the four main dining rooms was inconsistent.

The entertainment was fine. Our Infinity balcony stateroom was pretty, well appointed, with plenty of storage space. We enjoyed the Infinity Balcony. As with all our Celebrity Cruises the stateroom attendant was very pleasant and efficient.
