We chose this cruise because of the allure of the ports planned for the cruise and the expectation of hitting the fall colors

This cruise left Boston, up into Canada and back through two stops in Maine. Overall, an average cruise on an average ship. Here is a summary of the different components.

Ship – The ship seemed to be of medium size. We were a little disappointed in the Atrium area, that part of the ship where you first enter and is the central part of the ship. Usually two to three levels high, this ship had two levels. The upper level was mostly a restaurant (open 24 hours) not a lounge per se. So it wasn’t generally available for the cocktail hour for general seating to view/listen to the atrium entertainment. The stateroom (balcony room) was reasonably roomy and had pretty decent storage space. Suitcases could slide under the bed and out of the way. The bathroom was nice sized with a very large shower.
