We chose this cruise hoping to see the Northern Lights but the warnings come thick and fast once you are aboard that it is a 1 in 10 chance of success. However...on a ship's tour from Tromso we had success. The night before an announcement came from the Captain at 2am that the Lights were visible and we joined the rush to the top deck to see the display with was minimal so delighted to see them on the tour. The people who took the tour from Narvik actually travelled into Sweden on their tour and were successful also.

I'm hoping that another passenger on this cruise may have heard the English comedian who did a show early in the cruise. He was outstanding but I didn't note his name and can't get it from Cunard but Id love to hear him again one day.

There seem to be many new staff and meal orders weren't delivered quickly and often wrong in the main dining room. What was listed on the menu rarely arrived in terns of dressings or finishing touches.

Balcony

As expected but felt everything was tired. Carpet, soft furnishings and bedding but were happy and cozy. One rough night at sea our balcony door whistled loudly but conditions were rough
