First off the ages of the passengers average mid-70s. I'm 67 and I feel like I'm on a cruise with my parents! The entertainment targets this geriatric crowd. As a whole the passengers are not the most friendly.
The crew is very good. The food is very good, but the availability is quite limited during the day.
The excursions need improvement. They are more expensive than other cruise lines. Up to 40 passengers on tours without listening devices left us with little knowledge of what the guide said. There were few choices for food when returning from excursions, leaving 4 to 5 hours until dinner. Unlike other cruise lines, there is now welcome back from excursions with drinks and towels at dockside. These are some of the small things that a true luxury cruise line should have.
The cabin is small but we expect this. The bathrooms are tiny with a micro shower, one small sink, and almost no counter space. Storage was adequate, by not plentiful. The bed was good, but too soft for me. The cabin doors all needed adjusting and the balcony door need replacing.
