First off, our cruise was canceled, three times. This was a graduation present from my mom and her boyfriend (they got engage on the trip in Bermuda). Our original cruise was scheduled in August of 2020, and we were supposed to go with a friend and his family (who is now in college, so we ended up just going alone as a family). Upon entering the ship, it was clean, the staff was nice, but I became very annoyed after learning that the ship had no gift shop (nowhere to buy souvenirs or scale models of the ship). The tax and duty free shop had booze and cigarettes and loads of candy, nothing else. Very family friendly. The keycard experience was awful too, my card was “flagged” every time I tried to leave the ship in Bermuda because the cruise line thinks 19 yr olds are still children (drinking age in Bermuda is 18). Our room was nice, but the bathroom light switch is on the OUTSIDE right next to the room lights, which was very confusing. The beds were terrible, like sleeping on rocks. There are only two complimentary restaurants you can eat at without paying extra. Norwegian seems to milk you for every penny. The “main staircase” midship on decks 6-7-8 is idiotic, not enough room for two people to walk beside each other. The water slides, laser tag, and go carts are all extra, of course not included. I was really looking forward to seeing Footloose, but the process for booking the shows is stupid. There are screens on almost every deck that you can use to book entertainment, by the time I got to the screens there was no availability. It didn’t matter anyway, because all of the theater shows were canceled due to rough seas. Also, we are Phillies fans, they are playing in the World Series. Of course NCL was too cheap to stream any game for the entire duration. We forced the internet person to give us wifi for the games, but we had to crowd around one cell phone to watch it. Terrible. NCL makes you pay an extremely large sum of money for the internet (which sucks anyway). The only thing I enjoyed was the island of Bermuda, but even then the “royal dockyard” has little to no shops, which all sell the same things. It was pretty lackluster but the island was beautiful and I’m sad we were only docked there for 1 1/2 days. I will never go on a cruise again. I wished I stayed home and worked. That’s how bad this cruise was. I would have asked just to fly to Bermuda and stay there for the week. The guys at the Frog and Onion pub were great and even put on the Phillies games for us. Highly recommend that bar. (Shane, Borris, Wayne, Andrew and Christian were awesome) Trent was selling cigars across the street and they were amazing. Bermuda was
