We chose this cruise as it visited a number of ports we hadn’t visited before- Corsica, Elba, Sardinia, Valencia as well as ports we had visited before that we didn’t mind visiting again- Menorca, Majorca and Barcelona. We have visited a number of the Mediterranean ports a few times and find Azamara tend to have more of the non-mainstream ports which we enjoy.
We had been on a cruise with Azamara in May on one of their more established ships- Quest- and thought that it remained a good standard compared to pre -Covid/change of owner and there was no evidence of economising. We were pleased that the Onward was of a similar standard and no evidence of the issues experienced by earlier passengers.
Cabin was fine. Bed comfortable and steward kept everything in the cabin clean and tidy. Balcony furniture, while chairs are different from the usual were comfortable.
