I can't begin to say how shocked I was of having such excellent service and great food and 1st class entertainment. By reading these reviews I would of never guess the cruise would far exceed my expectations. Lets start with the food, because I was with another cabin that was not in the yacht club, I ate in the Panorama and the specialty restaurants. Lots of variety as well as great service and food. Always had something appealing as well as a variety. I would compare this restaurant as far as caliber of as a Outback steakhouse, not elegant but good food and a good variety of dishes. The Butcher's cut was my favorite, ordered a filet, baked potato and a lava cake.. This was an excellent meal on the same caliber as Capital Grille. Hola was fun and tasty , this restaurant was a surprise to me and I never thought I would enjoy this place. The market buffet was good, plenty of variety and just the food was so so, but you won't go hungry. (FYI- last sea day on this ship they have a chocolate buffet during lunch) Interesting how they make the mozzarella cheese in the market place.

Now for the entertainment: I heard people complaining about $18 for Carousel Lounge shows but I would pay $150 and up in Vegas or New York for the quality of these 2 shows. I asked an officer why they charge for these shows and they charge $12 online before the cruise to keep the amount of people at a lower number since this room holds a way lower amount of people than their Broadway theater does. Make sense to me.. These shows were fantastic to see. The shows in the theater were good as well; however, if you don't know much about muscials or past broadway shows, then it may find it to be boring. Costumes were superb and the shows were well done. A lot of gifted entertainers on board. I would of love to see them do an opera since they had the entertainers with amazing voices.

The yacht club is the best, way better IMO than the Haven at half the price. The thermal spa which is included with a yacht club cabin was very well situated and had many different spa rooms; salt, ice, steam, mediterranean steam saunas rooms as well as 2 spa pools. Unfortunately, the heated chairs that I love are next to one of the pools and I can't breathe in all that chlorine that is in the pools. The spa is managed and owned by MSC so you don't get the pressure sales after a treatment, thank God. Had a hot stone massage and pedicure and manicure. Both treatments were priced like a land spa and both of them were really well done with wonderful employees. Ana and Bibi are the best.

Cabin Review

Yacht Club Duplex Suite with Jacuzzi

Wonderful yacht club balcony . Had plenty of closet space for 2. Cabin is much wider than a regular balcony cabin, the bathroom and shower are much larger than a regular cabin. The shower has a wand as well as a rain shower and is big enough for 2 people. The balcony seemed to be bigger as a regular cabin. In the yacht club, the mini fridge is included and the butler will stock with anything you pretty much want within reason. alcohol, beer, sodas, water, chips, peanuts, etc.

No better way of travelling than in the yacht club.
