After canceling more cruises due to COVID then I've ever been on I was very much looking forward to finally getting on this ship with my family and my neighbors' family. Unfortunately, not all of us would make it, as my son got sick the day before sailing and my wife decided to stay home with him. That was the beginning of a really weird weekend, but the weirdness had nothing to do with the ship or the experience you'll likely to have so that will be the end of that part of the review. Just suffice to say that while I had a good time it was a very different time than I would have had if all of us had been on the ship together.

PORT/EMBARKATION

I way underestimated how long it would take me to get on board, mostly due to parking at the port. There's a parking lot right outside the terminal, but it was already totally full by the time I got there (around noon) so I had to go to the extended parking and wait for a shuttle. But once I arrived at the terminal it was pretty much continuous motion until I was on the ship.
