A few caveats should be considered when reading this review.
1) This was our first Virgin Voyages cruise.
2) This was a transatlantic voyage, which is not "in their wheelhouse" in terms of what VV does. That being said some of our issues apply regardless of that fact.
The cabin was great, in the XL category we had plenty of room, and the bathroom was spacious. The technology is very cool, IE most stuff is controlled via a tablet. Our room stewardess was wonderful, and attentive. The bed was comfortable, no complaints there. It seemed like some decisions were maybe based on form over function, which isnt always a bad thing but sometimes it can be detrimental. For instance, the shower / toilet doors are nice heavy beautiful tempered glass. But in rougher seas the lack of a positive engagement when closed meant that they would open and slam shut on their own. We had to wedge towels into the jam to keep them closed. The deck chairs look nice, but arent too comfy. The hammock however is great!
