We chose this cruise because of the 3 days it would spend visiting Israel. In regards to the entertainment on the ship, we felt it was not good. They need a better choreographer for their dance shows! The Club shows were not worth going to. The Theatre shows were an improvement - the Tree of Life was very good. The Retreat Lounge was a great place to relax, have a snack or drink, and enjoy the view. They need to improve the key entry to the lounge, as it frequently would not work. The self service coffee machine needs to be replaced, as the majority of the time it did not work - even when a staff member tried to operate it! The cost for laundry was ridiculous. They not only charged per piece, but then added on a 50% charge on top of that! Choose shore excursions carefully - we chose Leisurely Jerusalem as it stated is was a "Mild" excursion, but ended up having to climb up a cobblestone street from the Western Wall because the bus driver didn't want to wait in an hour long line of buses to get to the area where he left us. There were a lot of disabled passengers on this tour, and it was a real problem! We went to the Rooftop Garden Grill and the food and the staff were great! Also ate at The Petit Chef, which was a fun adventure. But the best part of the cruise were the wonderful crew!! We had so many fabulous staff who were serving us - Jane, Rodney, Alaksandra, Christian Joy, Paolo, and many more!! They made the cruise very special. Even with all the "little" problems we had, we still had a fabulous time!! The ship is beautiful!!

Cabin Review

I chose the Sky Suite because of the balcony, as the lower categories did not have a "real" balcony ! With 3 of us sharing the room, the extra space was valuable. And the bathroom was so spacious - the 3 of us could be in there at the same time if we so desired!! The only problem we had with the room were the drapes, which were remotely operated. They would only fully open, or fully close - couldn't get them to open just half way when we wanted to close off some of the sun, but still be able to look out!
