First off let me say, the ship is beautiful and there are lots of fun things to do. With that being said, we are usually carnival cruisers and decided to try a more "Classy" cruise line, or so we were told. From the moment we arrived at port we were completely thrown off by the dismissive behavior of the bag valets. The next faces we encountered were people yelling telling us we needed to walk faster and hold our child's hand, (We were 2 hours early and our child is 10). As we finally get inside and are herded like cattle to the desk where we only need to show our ID and Travel documents "This once". We then proceed to the next stop where we are belittled by the attendant by saying we should've had our travel documents out and ready, although we were told they could be put away. Upon arrival on the ship, you're free to wander the ship until your stateroom is ready which I was pleased with. We then got curious and wanted to see where our room was, we were screamed at and chased out of the hall screaming rooms weren't ready by who we'd come to know as our room steward. It just goes downhill from there, yes we were in the wrong place, yes she should've made us leave, did she need to behave the way she did ABSOLUTELY NOT. Once we were finally allowed into our rooms, guess what, IT WASN'T CLEAN. We proceeded to fix the room how we needed it for 4 people, moved beds and tables around as we needed them. Upon arrival back from dinner this night, the room had been "Cleaned" all of the furniture had been moved back where it originally was and the lady was waiting outside our door to tell us we couldn't move the furniture! Everyday, every single day, she was in the hallway outside our room to tell us we'd done something wrong, which we hadn't. I felt like a teenager coming home too late every night, even though I'm almost 40 years old! Then don't even get me started on the charges from guest services, we were probably up there 6 times on a 4 night cruise! No laundry area for guests, because of "safety reasons". They did not one but THREE "Crew Safety Drills" on our 4 night cruise, so the overly loud alarm kept sounding constantly. Then there's the freaking WASHY WASHY lady, ugh, no just no. We've already rebooked on Carnival and won't sail with Royal again. We won't pay that much money to be treated like children.

Nassau

Never liked Nassau, and didn't care for being bombarded with peddlers this time either. Wanted to stay on the ship but someone in our party needed glue.
