We would not recommend Viking river cruise.

Dealing with Viking Air was cumbersome and time consuming. Nickel and dime air charges: $100.x2, $166.50x2, $24x2, $50x2, $20.x2. And no refund on any, some being Viking mistakes, some just illogical rules.

Food was poor, most guests we ate with agreed. Customer blogs before this cruise commented on poor food and Viking chose not to fix this problem. Most dinners bland, poorly combined, many dinner mates we had ordered a hamburger because it was predictable. Read more
