Did not think the cruise was as good as when the Norwegian Excape cruised out of NYC. We did the Excape twice. However, the room was very nice and clean and the Steward was great. The bed , however, was hard as a rock. My wife had to ask for a foam cushion and to boot we took the bed cover and added that on top of the foam. Thannk God we were cruising south in warm weather and could sleep with the room deck door open. But the room steward was very responsive and did what he could. Employees were polite and did a great job. A bit surprised that the cruise director was in large invisible during the cruise as that is not what we are used to. We had an aft balony which is great but on Norwegian the downside of that is most everything is in the front of the ship. Deck 8 aft had a great outside for sitting when the weather was nice but for the most part unless you walked to the front, not a lot to do. I felt like I was being nickeled and dimed at times and an alcohol drink was over $14 but to my great surprise we could get a darn diet Coke at no charge. We are not big alcohol drinkers. That was appreciated. Cafe food was ok but loved the dessert options, which were very good. The Asian food section was very good at times. But one could reliably get a very good breakfast and basic foods for lunch and dinner. Entertainment was a step up from our other cruise line and the Beatles Revolution was awesome, both shows that we saw. Not sure where they get such talent but great. For those who need to stay in touch back home for any range of reasons, internet access was expensive. Embarking went relatively well but getting off seemed ridiculously long
