Our first time cruising with P&O and probably the last. The ship is spotless and our suite was lovely and spacious. House keeping is fantastic too. As we had a suite, embarkation was quick and we were on the ship early which gave us time to install the app which is necessary to book dining, shows, shore experiences etc.

Unfortunately the app is not fit for purpose. It was often down or 'threw you out' of the dining queues. The freedom dining that P&O advertise is anything but as hours were spent every evening trying to book a table for dinner or grab a reservation at a certain restaurant or show. We were often unable to get bookings at certain restaurants or missed entertainment as a result of it being fully booked

Iona is a huge ship 5000 plus passenger sand the public facilities such as cinema, gym and pools are too small for a ship this size. The cinema probably sat 100 people, yes there are 4, but 400/5000 is too small. We spent over an hour on a couple of occasions queueing to rebound the ship due to passenger numbers. Staff seemed disinterested and fed up when asked anything.
