Cabin: Club Ocean Suite

We moved to this cruise after losing our nerve re the Dubai to Singapore cruise. We bid for an upgraded cabin and were moved to a club continent suite. I didn't like the bidding system and feel sure we've over paid. However, the cabin was very nice. Not, strictly speaking, a suite. More of a larger cabin but it was nicely furnished and we enjoyed our use of the balcony. Only one comfortable chair which was a snag.

Much was made of in the information about what our butler would do. Unfortunately, most of this just didnt happen. Our butler seemed only to do just what room stewards have done in previous cruises. I think that more training is required or just to do away with the fancy title.

I think that the configuration of the ship has led to the need to offer apparent perks to some classes of cabin. ie there are inside cabins right up to large suites so the people forking out for large suites are, not surprisingly, looking for more than those paying very considerably less.
