After 3 years finally a return to cruising and Discovery Princess didn't disappoint. Overall an excellent cruise with a few minor blips but that is to be expected.
Embarkation: We were in the green lane and had an 11:30 boarding time and had no problems getting on the ship. We were probably on board by 11:45.
Dining: We ate in the Ketchikan dining room and the food there was very good. Our servers Jerry and Leslie were excellent and very sociable. We ate at the buffet for breakfast ,once for lunch and once for dinner, nothing really special about it. We had no trouble getting a table at any time. What was special was dinner at Ser La Mer . I had the beef filet and it was incredible. We had the lobster bisque for an appetizer which was more like a lobster pot pie which was great. The waiter also brought us 2 additional appetizers to sample which was nice. Don't pass up this place it is well worth the price. Slice on the pool deck was also very good.
