Our cruise had been postponed for a few years and it turned out that it was worth the wait. Viking's attention to detail was perfect on every level. We stayed in the Explorer Suite which if you can swing it, is a very luxurious way to travel. There is nothing but good when it comes to accommodations, food, service, included and extra activities and staff. The guides in the cities we stopped in were very knowledgeable and interesting. We also added on a pre-cruise extension in Amsterdam. Our hotel and Viking staff (especially Jonathan) were super helpful and friendly. Our hotel was very nice and wonderfully located close to many of the main sites. We had a wonderful time and know we will be purchasing future vacations through Viking. Their service is on a whole new level, from our experience. If you are considering a Viking river cruise, I hope you do it. You will love it all.
