My first ever cruise and I loved it. Boarding was easier than expected and I was in my cabin by 1pm or so, did some work on my laptop before we sailed. The ship was far larger than I expected as the last ship I'd been on was a Baltic ferry so this was something else. My cabin grade had been upgraded (as Trailfinders said it would) and I was on quite a high deck with a lovely balcony. I'd chose anytime dining and some evenings I did early and some later and the restaurant staff always gave me a good seat at a good table and every evening the adjacent tables were good company. All the staff on my ship were great. My cabin steward was so helpful, especially when I couldn't get the signs right for do not disturb etc. The gym was good, the speciality restaurants were good and the entertainment wasn't bad even though I am not a fan of musicals etc. One of the highlights is I won $1000 in the casino which paid for the cruise and covered my great spa treatment. All in all for my first ever cruise it was very good!
