Prior to Covid we had booked an extended cruise with P&O. It was over 42 days, starting in San Francisco. When the chaos first started with cancelled cruises, P&O had said we could reschedule the booked cruise. So we did . Had we waited a few months we could have cancelled and received 100% of our money back, but not knowing how long the virus would last, we rescheduled and could not get out of the cruise without a huge monetary loss.
So fine we scheduled this cruise. We booked excursions prior to departure, as we were told availability may be limited. Unfortunately my husband contracted Covid day one of the cruise( yes we were vaccinated and had tested the day prior to embarkation, London). All excursions were cancelled and we were assured, by P&0 , that our money would be refunded.
Well, it has been over 2.5 mos and we still have received nothing. We have involved our travel agency Vacations To Go, and they have been good, communicated frequently. We still have received nothing!
Old, bathroom dirty. Bed linen falling apart,torn. Closet smelled like cigarettes.Balconey was in need of repainting
