We wanted to do the Danube and this was a great cruise. As usual Viking does a great job and treating their customers well. We loved Budapest and Vienna. Seeing a Mozart and Strauss concert at the opera house in Vienna was incredible.

The cruise up the Danube was enjoyable. The low water levels were a concern but we were lucky as were able to make the full journey all the way to Regensburg. Food was great and the excursions were all enjoyable and informative. Viking like all service industries is struggling with maintaining help and there ere a lot of new crew members on our journey. Although they may not have been as efficient on other cruises we have taken their positive and can-do attitude was clearly evident. Covid changed some things but overall we were extremely happy with this cruise and have already scheduled our next cruise, an ocean cruise to Greece, in April.

Cabin Review

Small but you really do not spend much time in the room at all

Port Reviews

Budapest

We stayed a couple extra days in Budapest. We stayed at the Hilton on the Castle grounds. Great location and spectacular views.
