After looking longingly for years and then having to put vacations on hold during Covid, we jumped at the opportunity to take a Viking River Cruise. We are so glad we did!

We chose the Rhine Getaway cruise and the Viking extensions in addition to the river voyage. Our visit to Como, Italy set the tone for everything that followed. A truly wonderful Viking Program Director named Sam met us at the five- star Pulitzer Hotel and everything from that point forward was first class. We were impressed with the beauty of the area, the quality of the tours, the amazing food opportunities and with all the little extras that were provided by the people associated with Viking.

Once on the river, after a fabulous trip across the Swiss alps, the quality, service, attention to detail, helpfulness of the staff, incredible food and excellent local guides we encountered were all first rate. People we met along the way are folks with whom we plan to keep in touch- they too were wonderful. Read more
