We have never been to Alaska and heard nothing but Rave reviews regarding taking an Alaskan Cruise. This was our first time on a Celebrity ship and were advised by our travel agent to book with Celebrity and its ship the Millennium as it was recently refurbished. We found the Renovated Millennium to be beautiful and well done. The ship was close to 3/4's full due to just starting again after Covid lockdowns so we felt comfortable and not overcrowded. We secured an outer cabin in Aqua Class with a traditional balcony. The room was very comfortable and our cabin service was excellent. We ate dinner most evenings in the Aqua's Blu Restaurant with the exception of the Tuscan Grille one evening. In Blu we had the same table and wait staff every evening and they were one reason why we only strayed one evening. Another reason was the menu selections and its food quality. We varied our breakfast and lunch locations based on our daily schedules.
We were so happy with the staff and service in all areas of the ship we received that we have booked another longer European cruise on the Celebrity Apex.
The cabin was newly Renovated and very comfortable with a traditional balcony. The attendant was very helpful and assisted with any needs we might have needed.
