Cabin: Spacious Ocean View Balcony

My DH and I chose this cruise since it was leaving near our home port of Boston. We knew the ship was older but since it had been amped in 2019 decided to give it a try. The ship itself is in pretty good condition considering it’s age. The cabin was spacious and clean if a bit outdated. Embarkation was not difficult and we were aboard quickly.

When we boarded we entered deck 4 and asked where the muster was for us and a crew member told us deck 5 so up we went to deck 5 and then was told by another crew member it was on deck 4, so back down we went. After we saw where our muster station was another crew member told us that they weren’t even doing muster yet and there was no one to be found at our station. We waited a bit and grabbed a drink at the Tavern $35 for two drinks mostly of ice, and then finally checked in for muster. Afterwards we decided to purchase the drinks package and was glad we did and used it for specialty coffees and soda as well as bottled water and cocktails.

The ship is rather small on the interior and the decor was not to my liking at all. The promenade felt cramped and was crowded a lot on the sea days and in the evenings. The buffet crowds were a nightmare at times and there was not enough seating on this ship for the crowd that was onboard. They opened up one floor of the dining room on sea days for people to sit in just to have somewhere to go since the weather was not great on the cruise.

Cabin Review

Spacious Ocean View Balcony

Spacious but outdated. Toilet didn’t work for two of the seven days. Body wash shampoo was terrible. Beds were firm but comfortable
