I've sailed with Cunard since the days of the QE2. An all British crew where tuxes & food cooked at your table were the order of the day. Today the QM2 is nothing more than a Carnival ship in disguise.

Embarkation at Red Hook was a total disaster. Cattle entering a slaughterhouse are treated better. Passengers were kept outside the terminal in 95 degree heat requiring medical attention. Once inside refreshments and donuts for Diamond passengers were eliminated. Bathroom facilities were at an absolute minimum. Getting to and from Red Hook is is difficult to say the least.

Champagne in your room with glasses has been eliminated. Anything you want like ice in your room has to be requested. Room service now has a fee.
