What a wonderful time we had . First time with Holland America and we were very impressed. The koningsdam is a beautiful ship , not too big or too small. The decor was lovely, our cabin 11028 was amazing. It was a good size ,plenty of storage ,very comfy and well looked after by the staff. It was at the front of the ship and quite high up ,there was hardly any noise or movement.

The ship itself has so much to offer ,the food in the main dining room was delicious, we found the lido restaurant a bit busy so tended to only have lunch there ,which was always good . The hot dog/burger outlet on deck 9 right by the pool was superb , the best hot dog I've ever had . The Dutch cafe was also a favourite, especially for a lovely coffee and chat to friends.

The pool area great ,also the bar area at the back of deck 9 was a good place to gather with friends. Read more
