Cabin: Family Balcony Stateroom

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and the price was right! Entertainment on the Breakaway is mostly OUTSTANDING - Six is not to be missed, Burn the Floor was outstanding, Velvet (Dinner Theater with an upcharge) I would give a mixed review - the show was mostly amazing - the meal was not amazing and felt rushed. Overall worth the upcharge but needs a little TLC. We love NCL and have cruised multiple times on several other lines. Food was mostly great - the restaurants serve great meals with amazing service. The buffet was hit/miss - Breakfast was always outstanding; lunch was ordinary; dinner had great moments and not-so-great moments but it's a buffet. Desserts were fantastic almost always! The most endearing part of this trip was the amazing service by ALL staff on the Breakaway - they work to ensure a good experience. I have never had better overall service on a cruise.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

Not sure if the category is correct - it was a balcony at the back of the boat. Cabin was spacious, beds comfortable, and serviced well. We missed having towel animals everyday - that is a highlight for my husband.

Port Reviews

Newport was easy to navigate - you can see what you like, how you like it. The bus is free and easy to navigate. The mansions are simply extravagant. The Cliff Walk is enjoyable but know to wear the right shoes and know that the terrain can be a bit rough.
