This cruise left out of Bergen Norway, to the Norwegian Fjords, Oslo, Denmark, and ending in Amsterdam. We ended up not being able to stop in Denmark because of high winds, so they headed to Amsterdam, and we got two days there instead.

We chose Viking Ocean initially because we had heard such great things about them, and we prefer a smaller ship with less passengers. They are more expensive for a comparable room than a few others we have been on. The excursions are included, as is beer and wine with dinner.

Embarkation/disembarkation - mostly good. We elected to get on the ship late - around 2pm, which was great. Absolutely no line. As soon as you walk onto the ship you are required to go to the Safety demonstration and movie. Even though our room was ready, we were not allowed to go put our things down. (annoying). It lasted only 20 minutes, so not too bad. No trouble getting off the ship - get out of room, go to breakfast with your stuff, wait in a lounge, your color gets called. Go get luggage, walk out of terminal. Done!
