Just returned from an 8 day cruise to the ABC Islands onboard Explorer of the Seas.

We are avid cruisers and cruised on this ship in 2004 and Navigator in 2005. More recently we discovered NCL and have been cruising with them the past five or six years. Don't think we will be going back to RCL any time soon.

The good:

Cabin Review

Spacious Panoramic Ocean View

Spacious Panoramic Room on the 12th floor was spectacular! Great view super spacious lots of storage very comfortable for a family of three. Highly recommend this room type.

Port Reviews

Aruba

We had the best most fun excursion in Aruba on the Kukoo Kunuku Bus. Great music a super fun driver named Vince and a great beach break as well as seeing some sights around town.

Bonaire

We had to cancel our excursion because we had a note attached which read there was no beach entry and the only entry to the water was off a pier. This excursion was supposed to be a "beach break" which it didn't seem to be. So instead we cancelled this for $39 per person and ended up booking a city tour which was way to expensive $59 pp for an hour of driving! Very disappointed wish we had just gone to the little beach from the pier and taken our chances with leaving our stuff unattended. Kind of a bummer considering this was one of the clearest bodies of water I have ever seen in the Caribbean and would have loved to snorkel.
