24/9 to 8/10/22. Barcelona to Athens 14 nights. This was the first time we had taken the cruise line flight & transfer package, it will also be our last. Flight landed at 14.20 hrs, still sitting on the bus waiting to leave the airport at 16.20 hrs. Told the bus driver (who not speak english) to remove our luggage from the coach and that we were going by taxi, he made a phone call and we left immediately. Superbly simple quick check-in. No greet & drink when first stepping onboard. Luggage arrived at our room within half an hour. Wardrobe space adequate (same as Majestic Princess, and far superior to the new Celebrity Edge class ships, MSC Virtuosa & P&O Iona). Balcony space is somewhat limited even if opting for the deluxe balcony room.

We had opted for the "drinks, gratuities & wi-fi" package, well the wi-fi is very slow, the cocktails are very very weak in some bars and wines are limited in choice (nothing like as shown on the drinks list on the Medallion app), was told by a member of staff that all supplies have to come from the USA, I said even the European wines? Yes was the reply. Well one I find that hard to believe and secondly if it were true so much for reducing our carbon footprint! We always take breakfast in the room, choice is better than many cruise lines and quite good. We were told that as we are British we are provided with an in room kettle and tea/coffee making tray (I believe anyone can request this). Ordering food on the Medallion app is a bit of a fiasco! E.g. you can be sitting 10 yards away from the pizzeria and order a pizza on the app, the pizza will not come from the pizzeria nearby but via the kitchen/room service/to poolside some 45 minutes later, a mistake you make once (together with a $3 charge). Food in the main dining restaurants is quite good (didn't feel the need to use the speciality restaurants once). Restaurant staff excellent (as were all staff to be fair).

Sun loungers are a good length but somewhat uncomfortable (no padding whatsoever).
