This was our 8th MSC cruise and we actually booked our next one while on board. That being said, this ship needs some work. The dining room chairs were always falling apart. The shower drain didn't drain well. AND this was wasn't up to the MSC standard we have become accustomed to.

There are no shrimp cocktails on the menu at dinner. When asked, we got the standard answer of "THIS IS A DIFFERENT CLASS OF SHIP." That being said, the restaurant staff was just outstanding and the available food was excellent. The staff from the waiters to the supervisors went out of their way to treat us like royalty, (Hi Islam, Kunal, and Archie.)

We are diamond club members which includes a free specialty restaurant meal. Since there is no specialty restaurant on this ship, we inquired as to what would it be replaced with. When asked, we got the standard answer of "THIS IS A DIFFERENT CLASS OF SHIP."

Cabin Review

Our Inside Cabin, 8240 was always clean and our steward, Rey, was simply excellent. AVOID THIS ROOM. There is a service corridor on the other side of the wall and it was noisy from early morning to late at night.
