This was our first river tour and it exceeded our expectations. We were on the Viking Tir, not the Vali. It was a last minute change. We booked a French balcony room and it was very comfortable. The menu choices were varied and the food was delicious. Our Program Director, Stephen Guy, went above and beyond to ensure that our excursions were timely and fun. We were very pleased with the service staff, especially with waiters, Leo and Charles, and cabin steward, Sveda.

The public spaces were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the lounge where we could watch the scenery and the process of going through the locks. Our captain and crew did a great job navigating the river through areas of low water. The two coffee stations were very handy and were available 24/7.

We have booked another river cruise for April 2024, The Elegant Elbe, and look forward to another wonderful adventure.
