Cabin: Deluxe Veranda Stateroom

We chose this cruise because we have Finnish heritage. Unfortunately, because of the Ukraine war with Russia, Russia and Finland were removed from the itinerary. Bornholm was added, but was also removed, ostensibly because of bad weather (or pipeline sabotage)?

Sweden, Poland, Germany, and Norway were lovely and clean. We were happy to see the use of clean energy, high level of recycling, and so on. Our local guides were very proud of their heritage, and readily answered questions.

Our cabin was disinfected twice a day. All public areas were spotless and had hand sanitizer available--even the computers! All ship staff wore masks and were very accommodating and friendly. It was a lovely surprise, when after a long day offshore in Berlin, we returned to find the entire staff lined up on each side of the gangplank singing and dancing welcoming us back.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda Stateroom

Our cabin was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Our steward made a point to get to know our patterns, and clean it while were were out. It was spotless at all times. We enjoyed our balcony and the scenery as well. The refrigerator was restocked with tonic water daily, fresh water was in a decanter daily.
