My husband and I have long wanted to go to Alaska and we thought a small ship cruise was right for us. The ship was lovely as we would expect from Viking. The scholars were knowledgable and enhanced our understanding of the locations. The planetarium experiences were both fun and enlightening.

There could have been more venues to get snacks other than room service during the evening hours.

We had great difficulty reserving specialty restaurants and excursions. It was not until speaking to the restaurant manager that we were able to go at our desired times. We never did get to go on some of the excursions that we wanted to.Unfortunately, several people on our cruise had covid and we were not informed. Masking was not required and hand cleansing not enforced. I found that I had covid when I returned home. My dr. feels it came from the ship. Also many of the crew seems inexperienced and unsure of themselves when attending to our needs.

Cabin Review

The room was clean and comfortable.
