We booked this trip on 2019 but due to the pandemic we cruised in 2022. It was our first cruise of any kind. From start to finish including our pre and post cruise extensions Viking took care of every detail. While actually on the boat the staterooms were clean and comfortable. The crew was professional friendly and courteous. The excursions were reasonably priced and interesting and entertaining. Food was always fresh, varied, and delicious. The wait staff was always smiling, personable and always willing to make sure we were satisfied. Cruise director Debora was the consummate professional always willing to help with ANY questions or concerns. She had an amazing sense of humor and seemed to truly enjoy her job. The two bartenders Barnabas and Tomas were friendly, helpful, and professional with great personalities regardless of their rigorous work schedules. We would highly recommend a Viking cruise to anyone. Look forward to trying a ok’ing Alaskan cruise.
