We did a pre-cruise in Nuremberg which was outstanding. The Grand was lovely and the breakfast was delightful. Staff at the hotel were charming and eager to help. The excursions took us through the history with telling us information we hadn't heard before or had forgotten. Ex- The Grand Hotel is where the lawyers, etc., were housed during the trials.

Our Cruise was fabulous! We could not have had a better crew! There were pauses in the cruise with twists and turns (out of the control of Viking). Police closed the Danube. Our Captain kept us informed and Viking was on the ball with changes ready if we needed them. Lucky for us they opened the Danube shortly after the announcement was made and every change was in place. They were ready for whatever they needed to do. We continued our cruise on Viking Var all the way to Budapest. They put in an extra town visit which we loved! Fabulous time, Fabulous crew, Fabulous food...what more can you ask for. Can't wait for our next one.

French Balcony Superior

Lovely...love the heated bathroom floors. Rest on the bed as you cruise down to the next port. But be sure to close your curtains when you head to bed because there are times you dock right next to another ship. Glad travel is back in full swing.
