We love unpacking once, leisurely traveling the rivers and canals, and all the stops with included (and optional) excursions. Our pre-trip in beautiful Budapest was a walker’s delight with so much to see. Our Viking host was so helpful from answering questions and arranging tours to making dinner reservations.

Embarkation was a breeze with Viking handling our luggage and the ship’s staff waiting for us when we arrived after another day spent exploring the city. I can’t say enough about the Viking Ve crew members - from our gem of a Program Director to the restaurant and bar staff to the amazing nautical team - everyone seemed dedicated to making our time on board truly exceptional.

The chefs were outstanding and all the meals were creative and delicious. We loved spending time in the lounge with a coffee, cocktail, or glass of wine and either relaxing or engaging with other travelers. Read more
