My friends and I booked this cruise before the pandemic so the trip was postponed for a couple of years. Having previously sailed on several Viking River Cruises, we were so looking forward to traveling again. While the cruise was very interesting, the daily bus trips to sites became a bit tiring. The Helgrim's staff was exceptional as was the food. All of our tour guides were very knowledgeable; esp., Diogo. The Program Director Bianca was most helpful and entertaining. She provided us with a good bit of information of the excursions we were to take along with what entertainment was forthcoming on the boat. Each onboard meal was prepared and presented to the guests with expedience and courtesy. The Chef previewed each night's meal in a most delightful manner. His food lived up to his recommendations. All in all, it was a wonderful trip and I look forward to my next Viking cruise.
