This was my 31st cruise, the 7th on Celebrity. The 12 day trip on the Apex, RT from Rome, making stops in Greece, Turkey, Israel and Cyprus was one of my best cruise experiences. The Apex is a beautiful ship of classic design. There are some unique features like Eden and the Magic Carpet.

We were about 2000 onboard with a capacity of 3000. This enabled us to get a seat in the restaurant or any other venue without a problem. Service was excellent.

We enjoyed dining at the 4 different theme restaurants. The size of these restaurants made for a more intimate dining experience. Service was always friendly and attentive. Food was good to excellent. We ate one night at the "Steakhouse." The up charge is normally $65.0. That night they had a special rate of $50.0. You felt like you were dining at a 5 Star Restaurant.
