Chose this cruise because of the Castles. Loved the boat (Gymir) and staff was fantastic. Staff was very professional yet fun. River levels were perfect. Would definitely recommend the boat and the cruise. Pre trip in Lucerne was great and Viking staff there was very helpful. Post trip in Amsterdam was great but the Viking staff there was not the best. We would definitely cruise with Viking again. Food on the boat was very good. Loved the German night on the boat--would be great if they did these other nights too. Tours were great and most tour guides were very good. Stayed in lowest level of room and it worked out perfect. Would have been nice to have the larger window to make room seem larger but our opinion is for the difference in cost not worth it. Did the beverage package and definitely worth it for us--lounge staff definitely takes care of you.
