We chose this cruise because we decided if we were flying to Europe, we may as well go for two weeks. The pre and post cruise add-ons were just a last minute decision when we were booking the cruise. We really didn’t know what to expect. We loved Prague and Amsterdam. We enjoyed most of the included tours and most of the extra ones as well. We aren’t interested in some of the things one finds on other cruises like shows and casinos. Viking river cruises aren’t for everyone, but they are for me. Viking treats its guests very well.

Some of the other stops we especially enjoyed were: Vienna, Passau, Regensburg, Rothenburg, Cologne and Kinderdyke.

The staff on the ship were polite, friendly, and totally dedicated to making sure the guests enjoyed the trip. The food was delicious and of course I gained a few pounds. Lastly, we met some lovely people who will be lifelong friends.
