The cities visited, Bordeaux, Tours, Blay, Bourg, St. Emilion were all charming and beautiful. The food on the ship was fantastic and the wine was superb. The crew on the ship were attentive, the cruise director, Oliver was wonderful and imaginative. The excursions (we took all the included ones) were good and enjoyable. We did the Loire valley pre-cruise add-on and that was a very enjoyable and memorable part of the trip. Highly recommend that. The rooms on the ship are a bit cramped, difficult to navigate with 2 people, with limited storage and a very small shower and bathroom. The outside dining was wonderful, but hard to get a table unless you get there early enough. It was a delightful cruise, we enjoyed it, had fun with our friends and met new friends along the way. The Silver Spirits package is worth it and I'm glad we had added that to our trip as well.
The room was small, bathroom was small, storage was limited, but adequate for a 1 week cruise.
